At Guardian Academy Inc., we understand that education is more than just academics. We believe in equipping our students with essential life skills that will serve them well beyond the classroom.
Cooking Skills
We teach so our children can learn about nutrition and how math and science intertwine with creating something good to eat. In Psalms 107:9 "For he satisfies the thirsty and fills the hungry w/good things." So, we know we can bless others through our cooking & self-sustaining skills.
Money Management
We want to teach the biblical view for Money Management. In that we seek God first, we give with a whole heart. Live debt free, live on a margin (allowing room for things to happen) and save for things, instead of being a borrower.
Self-Sustaining Skills
We do sewing, gardening, woodworking and housekeeping to teach our children how to self-sustain for their families in what God provides. To rely on the abilities and talents God gave them for their families and to help others.
Community Outreach
We teach our children the importance of community outreach. Just like in Hebrews 10:24-25 instructs us "Let us think of ways to motivate one another to acts of love and good works, and let us not neglect our meeting together, as some people do, but encourage one another especially now that the day of his return is drawing near." We do this through valentines for widowers and doing dinners to raise money for Guardian but also to give back to the community.
